Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and oversee various testing procedures, including environmental assessments, bacterial and fungal evaluations, sub-culturing with aseptic techniques, and pH measurements, among other microbiological methods.
  • Facilitate both on-site and off-site environmental assessments, perform data trend analysis, and report discrepancies along with suggested corrective actions.
  • Ensure an organized workflow for testing processes, keeping SBL management, the Quality Unit, and clients informed of progress in a timely manner.
  • Document and monitor out-of-specification results effectively.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Comprehend laboratory requirements concerning product testing, documentation, Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, or Biology; advanced studies in Microbiology are preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a biological or microbiological laboratory setting, preferably in an environmental or pharmaceutical context.
  • Proficient bench skills in microbiological techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of cGMP regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, along with effective communication and time-management skills.
