As a Histology Technician II, you will play a critical role in our Clinical Laboratory, working closely with our medical team to provide accurate and timely test results. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various laboratory tests for the Clinical Laboratory, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to laboratory staff, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret test results and provide recommendations for patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Medical Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Board Certified ASCP Histotechnologist certification.
  • 5 years of experience in histology or a related field, with a strong background in laboratory procedures and techniques.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with medical professionals and laboratory staff.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
