Role Summary:
The Outpatient Clinical Dietitian is responsible for overseeing patients' medical nutrition therapy in accordance with established clinical practice standards approved by the medical staff in an outpatient environment. This role also serves as a vital resource for nutrition education and guidance.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Qualifications:
- If the Bachelor’s Degree is in a field other than Dietetics, candidates must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification is required.
