Job Summary

Capitol Child Development Center, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Toddler Educator to join our team. As a Toddler Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the Child Development Associate Degree or equivalent requirements.
  • Plan and execute a variety of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team environment, ensuring seamless communication and a positive learning experience for our students.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • A Child Development Associate Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Early Childhood Education, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
