Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at CentraState Healthcare System. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing statistical and accounting duties, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and maintaining cash flow requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Develop and implement financial models to forecast revenue and expenses, and to identify areas for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements, and to enhance the effectiveness of external web support systems.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies, and prepare accurate bank reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, including census and payer mix reports, to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management, to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Five (5) years of accounting experience in a healthcare facility required.
  • Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.
