Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Vimerse InfoTech Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Direction: Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and broad parameters for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially on highly complex assignments.
  • Engineering Expertise: Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.
  • Quality Assurance: Review work produced by staff for quality assurance.
Operational and Company Level:
  • Marketing and Business Development: Assist with the marketing of the firm's capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Do the Work:
  • Advanced Engineering Techniques: Use advanced techniques, theory precepts, and practices in the civil engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.
  • Liaison and Communication: Serve as liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams on complex project issues.
  • Design Recommendations: Make design recommendations, adaptations, and modifications.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
  • Complex Assignments: Carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved civil engineering techniques or procedures to create new or refined equipment, materials, processes, or methods.
  • Design and Drafting: Create own design work using computer-aided or manual drafting techniques.
  • Reporting and Correspondence: Prepare reports and correspondence concerning the direction of projects.
  • Field Investigation and Inspections: Perform field investigation or inspections.
  • Constructability Reviews: Conduct constructability reviews or assist in the design/plan/review of other civil engineering projects.
  • Technical Specifications and Estimates: Review plans and prepare/review technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
Education, Work Experience, Licensure/Certifications, and Technical Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
  • Licensure/Certifications: PE license strongly preferred.
  • Work Experience: Five or more (5+) years of experience in civil engineering, land development industry, or related industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Technical Requirements: Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications and civil engineering design software such as Civil3D. Familiarity with reading construction plans. Basic understanding of financial reports and metrics. Data analysis and interpretation skills. Thorough understanding of business and financial principles in a consulting business.
