Your Responsibilities:

You will manage on-site operations for residential construction projects, which includes project timelines, customer and supplier engagement, enforcing safety measures, reviewing documentation, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring equipment readiness, and executing essential construction tasks—all aimed at protecting the company's interests.

  • Oversee project management, including updating schedules, liaising with subcontractors, and maintaining project logs and documentation.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, team members, and project stakeholders to promote project unity.
  • Proactively ensure site safety by enforcing safety standards, leading safety briefings, and promptly reporting incidents.
  • Complete construction documentation, punch lists, and pre-installation checklists, interpret blueprints and specifications, assess project feasibility, and maintain 'as-built' records.
  • Supervise construction trades and subcontractors, coordinate quality assurance, manage material orders, inspections, punch lists, and keep an organized job site and office.
  • Ensure the functionality of equipment and vehicles, oversee power tool inventory, and schedule regular maintenance.
  • Manage and execute various construction tasks, including framing walls, roofs, insulation and vapor barrier installation, operating tools, and installing fixtures, as necessary to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of relevant construction experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to interpret building plans and specifications.
  • Experience in managing and scheduling subcontractors and trades.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and their enforcement.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mathematics, reading comprehension, and basic computer skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability.
  • A willingness to work in various weather conditions, with a strong work ethic and respect for others.
