Job Overview
MAB Community Services seeks a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Professional to join our team. As a Direct Care Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life and promoting independence for individuals in need.
Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with compassion and empathy
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities to promote socialization and personal growth
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the overall well-being of the individuals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or HiSet
- Previous experience in a direct care role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
- A valid driver's license and the ability to transport individuals
