**Job Overview**

The Office of the Bronx County Public Administrator is seeking a highly skilled Estate Administration Coordinator to administer estates of persons who died while residents of Bronx County. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with the public, police department, morgue, nursing homes, and hospitals to initiate estate administration proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with informants to explain office responsibilities and obtain necessary information
  • Answer all office calls and route them to the appropriate party
  • Coordinate with various entities to commence administration proceedings

Requirements:

  • High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or related activities
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and computer skills
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred

Salary:** $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
