About the Role

The Field Sales Representative role is a key position within Nestle Cwa, responsible for selling our products into retail and commercial establishments within a specific retailer or commercial grouping.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Product Management (40%):
    • Sell in incremental items to increase sales and revenue.
    • Close distribution and new item voids, and secure secondary displays to maximize product visibility.
    • Ensure Product Order Guide (POG) compliance to meet customer needs.
    • Address and correct Out-of-Stock (OSA) and Out-of-Order (OOS) issues as identified through Sales and Retail Execution (SRE).
  • Placement and Merchandising (25%):
    • Validate POG compliance to ensure accurate product placement.
    • Place Point of Sale (POS) and In-Store Communication (IRC) materials when requested.
    • Ensure correct product mix at non-POG retailers to meet customer needs.
  • Promotion and Sales (15%):
    • Meet and/or exceed all promotional sales goals to reflect the Picture of Success standard by selling in price reductions, displays, local events, POS, and digital activation, IRCs, etc. for all assigned accounts, including indirect headquarters.
    • Ensure compliance to all headquarters promotion plans by pre-selling, up-selling display quantities, and capturing incremental displays/sales opportunities.
  • Administration and Reporting (15%):
    • Attend and participate in all meetings as directed by your leader.
    • Review weekly deployment and prepare any needed information to complete each activity.
    • Review Power BI reports to monitor results and take action to address any opportunities.
  • Communication and Relationship Building (5%):
    • Post all successes, competitor market activity, and market insights to the Workplace platform.
    • Record all required information into the Nestle Mobile Sales Application as required.
    • Own the overall Nestle relationship, including store deployment and execution.
    • Complete regular business reviews with store leadership.
    • Proactively share best practices, solutions, and insights across the team to deliver results.
    • Communicate competitive and market activity/insights to Sales and Account Team Management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of successful retail sales and/or consumer goods experience.
