Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to radiopharmaceutical preparation, imaging, and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners
  • Perform imaging and therapeutic procedures, including positron emission tomography (PET) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology or Nuclear Medicine
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • One year experience in Nuclear Medicine (may include experience in formal NM training program)
