Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning for optimum imaging.
  • Explain the procedure to the patient and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification.
  • Evaluate the quality of MRI procedures and determine if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to radiologists.
  • Participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs.

Requirements

  • Two years' experience in the field of Radiologic Technology to support on-the-job training or one year of experience as an MRI technologist.
  • ARRT and Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Two years' experience as an MRI technologist in a hospital environment preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or accredited MRI program preferred.
