External Business Expansion Associate

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team as a key member of our sales team. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of the aluminum industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Source new sales leads through research, cold calls, emails, and follow-up activities
- Solicit new accounts, build rapport, and provide technical information to potential or existing customers
- Present and deliver information to potential clients
- Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients
- Qualify leads from online searches, digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
**Working Environment:**
This role will work in an office environment with a typical weekday schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility on this schedule is possible and can be negotiated.
**Desired Qualifications:**
- Associate's degree in Business or related field
- Ability to learn and develop an understanding of our company's services and the aluminum industry
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to research new sales leads using online search engines
- M Microsoft Office
- Possess good interpersonal skills with sound written and oral communication skills

- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Be personally motivated
**Estimated Salary:** $50,000 - $70,000 per year
