About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at Black & Veatch. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage construction activities, including coordination of erection activities, suppliers, direct hire craft labor, subcontractors, startup, and testing activities.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality performance, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, owners, alliance partners, craft labor, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring a high level of trust and credibility.
  • Lead and manage site management teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with 3 years at superintendent level or above on large solar projects, or in construction management role on smaller projects without a Bachelor's degree.
  • Self-Perform/Direct Hire Construction experience.
