Position Summary
The Site Construction Manager is accountable for overseeing construction activities through both in-house and contracted labor, ensuring the supervision of construction projects. This role is crucial for maintaining the safety and quality of the crew's work.
Essential Qualifications
- Familiarity with the telecommunications sector.
- OSHA 30 certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the crew's activities or vendor operations on-site.
- Implement company policies and procedures; enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Interpret specifications, such as blueprints, to ascertain construction requirements or plan procedures.
- Monitor work progress, equipment, or project sites to ensure safety and compliance with specifications.
- Identify, measure, and mark site locations or placements of structures or equipment using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, other departments, or contractors to address issues or coordinate activities.
- Guide workers in construction techniques, equipment operation, safety protocols, or company policies.
- Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support.
- Assist workers engaged in construction or excavation tasks using hand tools or other equipment.
- Coordinate or delegate equipment or machinery repairs.
- Review and process damage claims.
- Adhere to and enforce the Company's policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Utilize industry-specific software for project-related information.
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of construction experience.
- Understanding of all safety regulations per OSHA standards.
- Experience in Underground, Aerial, MDU, Coax Splicing, or Fiber Splicing is preferred.
Working Conditions: Field environment with a flexible schedule based on operational needs; participation in on-call rotation may be required.
