Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all engineering and technical aspects of our construction projects, ensuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project plans, proposals, and objectives with senior management and make recommendations on project feasibility and strategy.
  • Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and other construction professionals for technical consultations and project estimation.
  • Prepare, review, and oversee project documentation such as submittals, schedules, budgets, specifications, and contracts.
  • Manage the project's technical aspects and provide direction and support to the project team.
  • Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks, including identifying potential issues or constraints and proactively proposing solutions.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet the quality standards and project deadlines.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and report on project status to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to address any onsite issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a project engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with submittals, project estimation, and construction documentation.
  • Proven track record of managing all technical aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
