About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Philips. As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers in the Loma Linda, CA area by providing expert technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their medical equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain medical equipment at customer sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expert technical knowledge to resolve complex issues related to medical equipment, including electronic, mechanical, and networking theory.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, site service personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware, including applications, programming, and systems functionality.
  • Physical and Environmental Requirements: Ability to work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment, adhering to requirements.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license and driving record compliant with Philips' Fleet Policy; ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
