Job Summary

As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist at GE Healthcare, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator and contribute to the development of precision health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and repair basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implementing appropriate solutions and maintaining effective customer relations.
  • Perform planned maintenance, safety, and environmental inspections, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
  • Assist more experienced technicians on progressive repairs and resolution, working as a member of a local team to provide efficient service delivery.
  • Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule, maintaining approved parts inventory.
  • Ensure proper care of spares, tools, and test equipment, and enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Active Military Personnel
  • Ability to develop and maintain good customer relationships
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Desired Characteristics:
  • Previous experience and/or course work in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance
  • Analytical and communication skills to communicate technical issues to customers
