Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our Clinical Engineering team in Lexington, KY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of medical equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Provide technical support to healthcare teams and respond to equipment-related issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless equipment operation
  • Document work orders and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
  • Valid driver's license
  • CBET certification preferred
