Job Overview

As a Corporate Banking Relationship Specialist at Stock Yards Bank and Trust, you will engage in building and nurturing connections with both prospective and current Business Banking clients. This role emphasizes a consultative approach to meet the unique needs of each customer. Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Formulating and implementing strategic calling plans to attract new business and enhance relationships with existing Business Banking clients.
  • Conducting credit assessments and managing the portfolio for assigned business banking accounts.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of credit quality and timely processing of renewals and overdue accounts as part of portfolio oversight.
  • Acting as the Business Banking authority for designated Branch Managers within your territory.
  • Collaborating with Branch Managers to strengthen and expand connections with local businesses.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of business financial documents to identify the strengths and weaknesses of loan applications.
  • Proactively cross-selling relevant Stock Yards Bank products to both new and existing clients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A college degree is required, preferably in business, finance, or accounting.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a banking relationship management role.
  • Strong skills in sales, relationship management, business development, and analysis.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Business Banking strategies and philosophies.
  • A solid foundation in lending practices.
