Job Title: Retail Associate

At Ross Stores, we are committed to providing our customers with a positive shopping experience. As a Retail Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our stores are well-maintained, efficiently merchandised, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Merchandise and maintain store displays to ensure a visually appealing and well-organized store.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card, and refund transactions.
  • Assist with receiving and processing merchandise, including unpacking, stocking, and pricing items.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive store environment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and reconciling inventory, and reporting discrepancies to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining store equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company's dress code.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and management.
