Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery to pack pharmaceutical products according to specifications.
- Perform quality checks on packaging materials and products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Accurately label, weigh, and inspect packed products for defects, damages, or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination.
- Report any machine malfunctions, product defects, or packaging discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Assist in the setup and changeover of packaging equipment when switching between product types or sizes.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, including batch numbers, quantities, and packaging specifications.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the inventory management of packaging materials and supplies.
- Work closely with quality assurance to ensure all regulatory and quality requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or packaging environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Basic math skills for counting and measuring products.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to [weight], and handle materials as needed.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, or similar industry standards is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
