Territory Sales Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing a group of customers within a specified market area.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to drive customer acquisitions and achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to develop and maintain an understanding of all aspects of Casella products and enhance selling opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to increase services to existing customers and develop a fully functioning account retention program in the defined territory.
- Maintain strong relationships with drivers, operations, customers, and customer service representatives to ensure safe service procedures.
- Understand and utilize company pricing and profitability models, and prepare and submit all administrative paperwork for customer setup and account changes.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to clearly and accurately set and communicate monthly goals and accomplishments.
- Attend all divisional and regional sales meetings to aid in training and increase networking opportunities.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in an environmental or sustainability field.
- Relevant sales certifications, and the ability to travel 80% of the time within a defined territory.
- Strong interpersonal, strategic selling, and negotiation skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
