Main Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at retail accounts, ensuring optimal in-store availability and display execution.
  • Merchandising and Display: Physically build out displays using cases of product, ranging from 10-35 pounds, and ensure proper shelf management for cold and ambient products.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify new points of distribution, seed product in existing accounts, and develop plans to execute programming given by Vita Coco.
  • Communication and Follow-up: Maintain excellent communication and follow-up skills with coworkers, distributors, and consumers.
  • Problem-Solving and Customer Service: Provide strong customer service and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and meet customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, and 1-2 years of experience in sales, merchandising, or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and follow-up skills, innovative and creative approach to sales and merchandising, ability to formulate account strategies and execute against them, and strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift cases of product between 10-35 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
