Position Overview

About the Role

Contribute to national security efforts by becoming part of a dedicated team of IT specialists focused on enhancing and modernizing the enterprise IT systems for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is looking for a SharePoint Power Apps Developer to assist in a significant infrastructure initiative for DCSA.

SAIC is committed to supporting DCSA in protecting our nation's sensitive information. DCSA oversees the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program, ensuring security for over 10,000 companies and around 13,000 facilities engaged in classified operations across the Department of Defense and 31 Federal agencies.

In the context of the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will deliver a comprehensive IT solution that offers a highly secure and flexible IT infrastructure, customer support, and advanced technologies that facilitate operations and promote the DCSA mission within a unified IT framework.

Key Responsibilities

The SharePoint Power Apps Developer will collaborate with a team of IT professionals to create SharePoint, JavaScript, and Power Platform solutions for government clients. This role involves working closely with both business and technical stakeholders to establish requirements, document specifications, and develop optimal technical solutions.

  • Customize DoD365 to align with business needs, leveraging expertise in SharePoint Online site management and the creation of pages, lists, and libraries. Strong proficiency in building Power Apps, Power Automate Flows, and extensive customization of SharePoint Online and Power Platform features is essential. Knowledge of Power BI for dashboard and analytics creation is also required.
  • Develop solutions utilizing the full range of O365 tools, including Teams, One Drive, and OneNote.
  • Design and manage SharePoint solutions that utilize JavaScript, HTML, and/or REST to extensively customize the user interface while using SharePoint as the primary framework for content management.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of business solutions for government clients, from requirements gathering through development, documentation, and user support.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the SharePoint Power Apps Developer position should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven ability to design a technical solution, including comprehensive written and visual documentation, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Technical expertise required to customize SharePoint Online functionalities and user interfaces.
  • Experience in configuring and tailoring SharePoint Online sites, lists, and libraries to meet specific business requirements.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing dynamic and complex PowerApps and Power Automate Flows.
  • Extensive experience using Power BI to create dashboards and perform data analytics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to operate with minimal supervision.

Education and Clearance Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must possess an active (or at least interim) Secret security clearance.
  • Experience in integrating various data sources into SharePoint using Power Platform connectors.
  • Familiarity with agile and iterative software development methodologies.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. This estimate reflects the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other relevant factors.
SAIC is open to receiving applications on an ongoing basis, with no specified deadline.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not mandate COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Compliance with customer site vaccination requirements is necessary when work is conducted at a customer location.
