We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Director to join our Growth and Development Team at GovCIO. This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Capture Managers to develop winning strategies and articulate the value proposition of GovCIO's solutions.
- Lead solutioning activities, working with technical and customer domain experts to create differentiated and well-articulated solutions that address customer pain points.
- Architect solicitation response designs based on story and solicitation requirements.
- Conceptualize key proposal graphics to effectively communicate solution concepts.
- Review and coach authors during the proposal phase to ensure high-quality content.
- Promote the application of proposal best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of experience (or commensurate).
- Secret clearance required.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more IT functional areas, complemented by significant involvement in competitive Federal proposals.
- Strong understanding of the Federal procurement process, including the FAR, contracting vehicles, and nuances of Federal contracting.
- Ability to collaborate and lead a broad range of talented individuals to achieve a common operational understanding and solution.
- Willingness to learn and conduct research on technologies, companies, Government agencies, budgets, and programs.
- Ability to apply critical thinking across an opportunity lifecycle, from reading an RFP to understanding customer needs.
- Experience translating technology solutions into high-quality, well-written responses throughout business development, capture, and proposal development lifecycles.
- Capacity to craft persuasive arguments from loosely-formed thoughts and inputs from Subject Matter Experts.
- Ability to conceptualize graphics to convey key solution concepts.
- Proven ability to own one or more sections of a proposal across a diverse range of topics.
- Proven ability to write, review, direct, and craft proposal sections regardless of the discipline, technology, or requirements of those sections.
- Instincts necessary to provide direction to sometimes inexperienced proposal staff.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps.
- PMI certification.
