Overview:
Anodyne Corporation is seeking dedicated Respiratory Therapists to provide exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves a commitment to delivering high-quality respiratory services to patients across various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality of respiratory care and ensure comprehensive patient management through a one-on-one therapist-patient relationship.
- Act as a consultant for respiratory care issues, addressing inquiries and providing expert guidance.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions to make informed decisions regarding ventilatory support.
- Conduct patient education on respiratory therapies and equipment usage.
- Maintain and manage respiratory therapy supplies to ensure readiness for patient care.
- Perform quality control and maintenance checks on respiratory equipment.
- Execute arterial blood gas (ABG) punctures and manage related documentation.
- Conduct routine ventilator assessments and maintain accurate records.
- Implement sputum induction procedures and perform diagnostic studies as required.
- Evaluate airway stability for patients with tracheostomies and ensure optimal equipment functionality.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in respiratory care practices and responsibilities.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- CPR certification.
- A minimum of three years of experience in adult respiratory care.
