Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer - Clean Power Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the integration and commissioning of components and control systems within microgrid and BESS projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and configure control software for energy applications
  • Test and validate control algorithms to ensure seamless operation
  • Manage start-up procedures and conduct thorough system checks
  • Optimize performance through calibration and provide technical support
  • Document processes and train local operators to ensure efficient operation and troubleshooting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, control systems engineering, renewable energy engineering, or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in energy systems, with specific focus on microgrids, energy storage systems, and renewable energy
  • Experience in commissioning and system integration required
  • Proven track record in successfully starting up complex energy systems in field settings
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring control systems for energy applications
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, especially as they relate to energy storage and distribution
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and their integration into microgrids
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations pertaining to microgrids and energy systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degrees or specialized certifications in microgrid technology or control systems
