Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Mechanical Estimator to join our team at Saylor Consulting Group. As a key member of our water/wastewater team, you will work on high-profile projects with various California water infrastructure agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate construction and project cost estimates from conceptual design through project close out.
  • Utilize industry-leading software such as OST, Bluebeam, Timberline, and Revit to take off and estimate projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings.
  • Negotiate and manage change orders and construction phase estimating.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Construction Management or related field.
  • 10-15+ years of experience estimating water/wastewater projects with values of $100 Million or more.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and proficiency in Google suite and MS office.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
