We are seeking a qualified instructor to teach construction cost estimating and project management courses at El Paso Community College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and experience in teaching at the community college level.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver course materials and instruction in accordance with the college's curriculum and objectives.
- Use teaching methods that cater to students of varying educational backgrounds and learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Participate in faculty orientation and professional development activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in construction or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience in the construction industry.
- Three years of teaching experience, exclusive of teaching.
- Ability to conduct training virtually and in person.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Working knowledge of construction standards and regulations.
