We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at PCL Construction, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with suppliers and company personnel to determine the best cost and availability of materials and equipment. Key responsibilities include creating and issuing Purchase Orders, entering PO details, and supporting estimating as the lead with price support for materials and services. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of progressive experience as a Buyer or other related purchasing experience, a postsecondary diploma/degree in a related discipline, and advanced construction knowledge. Strong computer literacy and negotiation skills are also essential. The Procurement Specialist will work closely with the estimating team to prepare supplemental estimates and participate in estimating meetings and bid closing. Additionally, the successful candidate will administer the formal bid process, including Requests for Quote (RFQ), technical and commercial review, bid conditioning, and award. They will also negotiate procurement details with suppliers, including contract terms and conditions, and administer the agreement throughout its term. Other duties may include writing equipment and tool transfers, managing equipment and tool inventory, and providing customer service to field personnel. Key Qualifications- 4-6 years of progressive experience as a Buyer or other related purchasing experience
