- Continuously monitor and assess compliance across all business functions, including conducting regular audits, reviewing internal controls, and analyzing data to identify any potential compliance gaps or areas for improvement.
- Assess and monitor compliance across the company and establish and educate employees on corporate policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Investigate any regulatory and compliance violations and resolve them, including conducting internal investigations, collaborating with legal counsel, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future violations.
- Develop, design, and implement compliance policies and procedures and training programs for employees, including developing comprehensive training programs that educate employees on their obligations and responsibilities, as well as the potential consequences of non-compliance.
- Provide guidance on how to navigate complex regulatory requirements and create policies that will serve as a roadmap for employees, outlining the expected standards of behavior.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues by thoroughly evaluating the company's operations and processes to pinpoint areas of vulnerability and implement appropriate controls to mitigate risks.
- Work closely with legal counsel to identify areas of potential risk and develop strategies to mitigate them, including conducting regular risk assessments, implementing internal controls, and establishing compliance monitoring systems.
Requirements:
- JD or equivalent in law, business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior compliance role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective compliance programs.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations for our industry.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be well-versed in NIST and CMMC requirements, ideally fully trained and certified as a CCP and CCA, along with additional industry requirements.
