Job Overview

Location : This role operates under a hybrid model, combining remote work with office presence. The ideal candidate should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of an Elevance Health PulsePoint location.

The Manager of GBD Special Programs is tasked with directing and supervising a team responsible for the coordination of a holistic healthcare initiative. This program identifies the diverse needs of members, encompassing physical health, behavioral health, and social services for specialized products/programs such as long-term services and supports (LTSS), Foster Care, and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), among others.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee resource allocation to ensure effective care delivery to members and sufficient coverage for all responsibilities.

- Coordinate service provision, including comprehensive assessments of both physical and psychological aspects of members.

- Engage in cross-functional teams aimed at maintaining and enhancing program effectiveness.

- Assess current processes within Special Programs' support functions; propose modifications to boost efficiency and improve outcomes.

- Design and implement training initiatives for staff involved in the program. Analyze and manipulate data to present insights to relevant stakeholders.

- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, including at least one year in a leadership or management role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience in service delivery coordination, discharge planning, or behavioral health within a managed care environment is preferred.

Licenses such as RN, LSW, LPC, or LPN/LVN are advantageous.
