POSITION: Customer Service Representative

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver outstanding customer support to nursing home personnel, physician office teams, and patients primarily through phone communication;
  • Input data into a specialized software system;
  • Coordinate the dispatch of mobile phlebotomists and couriers;
  • Monitor specimen collection and reporting processes;
  • Resolve issues related to missing, incomplete, or incorrect orders;
  • Maintain a professional and effective interaction with clients and colleagues at all times;
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities, which are essential for this role.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma;
  • Preferred: At least one year of customer service experience in the healthcare field;
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple tasks daily;
  • Familiarity with laboratory test orders and a solid understanding of critical results;
  • Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills are required;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in listening;
  • Proficient in 10-Key and Alpha Numeric Data Entry, with a typing speed of 40 WPM and accuracy;
  • Advanced computer proficiency;
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment;
  • Commitment to maintaining patient privacy, confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA regulations;
  • A collaborative team-oriented mindset is essential.
