About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience at the Pine Community Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process new and renewal memberships, as well as register members and guests for recreational activities and programs.
  • Complete monetary transactions according to process and policy, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Gain knowledge of fitness equipment to demonstrate use and functionality to members and guests.
  • Communicate and discuss events, classes, programs, and other Community Center offerings to members and guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of work and/or departmental area and equipment.
  • Monitor members and guests in assigned work area and/or department for compliance, safety, and customer service inquiries.
  • Use integrity and attention to detail to communicate with leadership, regularly, on safety concerns, equipment failure, supply shortage, incidents, observation, or witness to inappropriate behavior.
  • Regularly monitor security camera activity and report concerns immediately.
  • Participate in company training and meetings, as well as assist with transfer of knowledge to new team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality of members, guests, and company sensitive information.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-year relative experience preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
  • FBI Fingerprinting Clearance.
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
  • PA Criminal Background Check Clearance.
  • Mandated Reporter Certification.
  • CPR & AED Certification - willing to become certified within 3 months.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly and frequently required to stand, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, stop, and talk; read, hear, use hands and fingers, handle, grasp, and feel to use equipment; reach with hands and arms, and lift 10 pounds. The specific vision abilities required for this position include close, distance, and peripheral vision abilities and the ability to adjust to focus. The noise level in this position ranges from moderate to loud.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to use written and oral communication skills; observe and interpret situations; read and interpret information, analyze, assess, and report work assignment difficulties; use math and complete simple mathematical tasks; work with constant interruptions; and interact with Township officials, employees, and the public.
