Position Summary:

The 10th, a renowned fine-dining establishment located on the mountain, is seeking a Host / Hostess to enhance our outstanding service team. This restaurant serves lunch daily and is accessible via ski-in/ski-out or our state-of-the-art gondola. The 10th reimagines traditional alpine cuisine and elevates service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and seat guests, ensuring a personal touch by using their names when possible.
  • Manage future reservations and maintain waitlists efficiently.
  • Assist management in regulating guest flow and seating arrangements.
  • Handle phone inquiries and collaborate with staff to maintain dining area standards.
  • Provide exceptional service to members while balancing public dining needs.
  • Assist with table setup and clearing as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in guest restrooms.
  • Ensure the boot/slipper room is tidy before, during, and after shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset is essential.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems is preferred, or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service setting is advantageous.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is necessary.
  • Fluency in English is required.

The anticipated pay range for this position is competitive, reflecting the value of your contributions. Individual compensation will be determined based on various factors.
