Full-Time Sign Language Interpreter for Preschool and High School Students

About the Role:
We are seeking two qualified Sign Language Interpreters to support a female preschool student and a male high school freshman who communicate exclusively through American Sign Language (ASL).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person interpretation for a female preschool student who communicates solely through ASL.
- Support a male high school freshman who also uses ASL for communication and may transfer to a Deaf school in the future.
- Facilitate communication between students and teachers, ensuring understanding and engagement in the classroom.
- Work closely with educators and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum EIPA score of 3.5 or RID certification.
- Must possess or be eligible for Indiana state certification.
- Experience interpreting for preschool or high school students is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
