We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Specialist to join our team at Cox Communications. As a key member of our Network Operations Center (NOC), you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational success of our clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure Management: Coordinate and monitor infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to ensure seamless operation and optimal performance.
- Technical Support: Provide world-class Tier 1 support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues with remote agents and infrastructure.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Maintain remote monitoring and management systems, onboard and offboard clients and agents, and perform routine client health checks to identify potential issues.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain technical documentation, provide thorough and excellent technical support to clients, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field, or any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience.
- Cloud Certifications: Foundational Cloud Certification in any of the following service providers: Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Technical Skills: Experience working with Remote Monitoring and Management tools, Cloud and hybrid infrastructure, Microsoft Windows patch management, automation development, PowerShell scripting, and service request ticketing systems.
- Soft Skills: Innovative thinker, ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions, passion and drive for outstanding results, strong organizational and time management skills, excellent verbal and textual communication skills, and experience with creating technical documentation.
