Job Title: Senior Project Manager Nuclear Island Civil Works

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Nuclear Island Civil Works team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the detailed design and execution of civil works for nuclear island buildings, ensuring projects meet their objectives in terms of quality, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and leadership to a team of project managers, ensuring clear communication of project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Oversee the full scope of Sizewell C series contracts, including planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements specific to nuclear construction.
  • Cost Management: Develop and control project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met, implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on safety or quality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients, communicating effectively to manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Excellence and Innovation: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project management team, identifying opportunities for innovation in processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Commercial Strategy and Revenue Growth: Proactively identify and exploit commercial opportunities to ensure revenue, order intake, and margin goals are met or exceeded.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks associated with projects, developing risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the nuclear industry or similar highly regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale civil construction projects with a focus on detailed design.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
