Position: Compliance and Operational Risk Audit Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) for designated audit assignments, ensuring adherence to audit strategies across Lines of Business (LOBs).
  • Drive risk-focused auditing by defining the scope and testing procedures to assess the control environment in line with audit policies.
  • Evaluate issues for their business implications and recommend appropriate severity ratings.
  • Draft comprehensive audit reports and manage relationships with business partners.
  • Foster an inclusive team environment and mentor junior team members.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Expertise in compliance and operational risk frameworks, along with a solid understanding of the financial services sector.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit roles related to compliance and operational risk management.
  • Proven track record of leading audits and acting as auditor-in-charge for at least 3 years.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to build relationships across various levels of management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on articulating findings effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degrees in relevant fields such as Auditing, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are advantageous.
