$130,000 - $150,000 per year Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Lead Audit Accountant to become a vital part of our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing audit projects, ensuring adherence to US GAAS, and delivering top-notch audit and assurance services. This position is ideal for an experienced auditor eager to apply their expertise in a stimulating and rewarding setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage audit projects to guarantee compliance with US GAAS and other relevant standards.
- Prepare and evaluate audit documentation and financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established accounting principles.
- Establish and nurture productive relationships with client management throughout the year, serving as the primary contact for complex audit issues.
- Identify and relay accounting and auditing concerns to managers and partners, offering insightful recommendations for enhancements as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop audit strategies, and ensure timely and efficient execution of audits.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and oversight to junior audit personnel, promoting a collaborative and educational environment.
- Stay informed about current trends in the finance sector and updates to US GAAS to maintain relevant and effective audit practices.
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or CPA certification is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of auditing experience, ideally within the finance sector. Experience with external audits is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAS and other pertinent auditing standards.
- Outstanding analytical abilities and a sharp eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients and team members at all levels.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple assignments and meeting strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in audit software and other relevant technological applications.
- A firm commitment to professional and client service excellence.
