The Department of Architecture within the College of Architecture and Planning is seeking a diverse pool of lecturers for potential future appointments.
Lecturers hired to teach design studios are expected to possess expertise and experience in architectural design, including knowledge of various design paradigms, design skills, and project design methodologies.
A successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to guide and manage student projects through constructive feedback, utilizing technologies ranging from technical drafting to advanced digital design tools and visualization software.
For applicants interested in teaching non-studio courses, it is essential to showcase expertise in the relevant subject area.
If an applicant has expertise beyond or in addition to design studios and wishes to be considered for a three-credit-hour course, this interest should be clearly articulated in the cover letter.

Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related discipline is mandatory.
Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with a professional degree in architecture or a terminal degree in a related field.
Additional preference will be afforded to those with prior teaching experience, professional registration, and/or a proven record of professional practice in architecture.
