About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Liaison/VA to join our Emergency and Critical Care department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional communication between clients, doctors, and support staff
- Obtaining and reporting vital signs, as needed
- Recognizing changes in patient status and reporting to the doctor
- Counseling owners, preparing medications, and discharging patients
- Assisting support staff, as needed
We offer a variety of shifts, including 4-10 hour shifts Sunday-Wednesday and 3-12 hour shifts Thursday-Saturday. Shifts may be subject to change.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting. Experience in emergency/urgent care is a plus. You should be able to work in a highly collaborative environment and commit to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
CompensationWe offer a competitive hourly wage of $18-$23, with a possible shift differential of $25-$35. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
