Job Overview

Madden Industrial Craftsman is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Lead to manage fabrication projects from design to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical expertise and strong project management skills, with experience in managing large-scale projects from receipt of order through design, procurement, fabrication testing, shipment, installation, and start-up.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Manage and coordinate the efforts of subordinate engineers and staff, delegating responsibilities to achieve economic and efficient results.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, internal/external production capabilities, financial targets, and available resources.
  • Determine make versus buy decisions for various project components, considering customer requirements, company strategy, and engineering management direction.
  • Create detailed designs and 3D models of project components, utilizing Autodesk software products and incorporating manufacturing process knowledge.
  • Directly support and engage in generating quotes for parts, service, and capital equipment by identifying requirements and providing summaries of costs and lead time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • 4+ years of broad engineering experience, including areas such as product design, manufacturing methodology, tooling, and laboratory work.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence and be insurable under the company's motor vehicle insurance policy.
Compensation

$90,000-$100,000/year base salary, with bonus opportunity worth up to 6% of base compensation.
