Job Summary:
William Charles Construction is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimation Leader to oversee the electrical estimating department's activities, including bid management and resource allocation. This role requires strong leadership skills to train and develop team members while ensuring quality and compliance with company procedures.

Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Estimation Leader, you will be responsible for managing the firm's estimating activities, including pre-bid attendance, bid management, cost databases, estimating software, and implementing improving all estimating practices. You will also perform managerial duties such as directing, planning, organizing, and coordinating. Additionally, you will establish timelines and estimating goals for effective and timely submittals, ensure effective communication and collaboration on estimates between disciplines and parties, and work closely with the Preconstruction Manager to achieve department objectives.

Key Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with proven high-level construction estimating experience, leadership and mentoring skills, and solid presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills. The ideal candidate should possess an understanding of contractual requirements, conceptual estimating, design drawings, and project specifications. Familiarity with leading estimating software and ability to make decisions under tight deadlines is also essential. A B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent progressive work experience is required. The salary range for this position is $160,000-$180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
