About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Estimating Manager to lead our electrical construction estimating team at William Charles Construction. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of estimating strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in high-voltage electrical construction estimating, with a proven track record of developing and executing effective estimating plans. You will be responsible for managing a team of estimators, ensuring timely and accurate estimates, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement estimating strategies that meet or exceed company goals
  • Manage a team of estimators, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and client requirements
  • Collaborate with preconstruction and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in high-voltage electrical construction estimating
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in team development and mentorship
  • Extensive knowledge of estimating software, including Microsoft Project and Primavera P6
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
