About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Matadoor Restaurant Group, LLC. As a Shift Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Restaurant Operations
    • Supervise and manage restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
    • Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, safety, and security standards.
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Coach and mentor employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer complaints and concerns.
    • Monitor customer feedback and implement changes to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage restaurant finances, including cash handling, inventory control, and labor costs.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a quick-service restaurant environment or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
