Job Summary

The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling designated medical devices in their assigned territory. This role requires a strong clinical understanding of interventional cardiology and radiology procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement sales plans and achieve sales goals and objectives for the assigned territory.
  • Facilitate sales growth by conducting training and account servicing for medical professionals.
  • Provide product technical support to customers in OR and interventional suite environments.
  • Participate in troubleshooting support programs.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth profiles of each account, including customer preferences and market activity.
  • Conduct strategic territory management and analysis.
  • Develop key opinion leaders and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Account for all territory expenses and materials.
  • Review current literature for new developments within the healthcare field and sales field.
  • Attend local, regional, and national scientific tradeshows and professional meetings to promote products and in-service customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
  • 3+ years sales experience with proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Medical device sales experience and/or medical experience in interventional cardiology or radiology setting, strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to interact with different specialties within a hospital.
  • Self-directed, able to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations/situations.
  • Strong problem-solving/analytical skills and effective presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong communicative, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and computer technology.
  • Ability to travel 50% of time, many times with short notice.
Working Conditions

The Senior Sales Representative will be required to stand and/or walk in numerous hospitals or at meetings for hours per day, up to five (5) days per week. The ability to carry detail bags weighing up to 20 lbs and lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs is also required.
