Key Responsibilities- Client Management: Manage a select portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Departmental Operations: Develop and streamline departmental workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day operations, drive the achievement of agency goals, and foster a positive work environment.
- Growth and Development: Identify growth opportunities for the department, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options, to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze monthly reports to assess progress toward departmental goals, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Carrier Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, ensuring optimal partnerships and mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to ensure optimal utilization of our agency management system and carrier websites, ensuring team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Staff Evaluations and Development: Participate in annual staff evaluations, contribute to the hiring and training of new team members, and undertake additional responsibilities as required by the role.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, with a proven track record of success in client management, departmental operations, and growth and development.
- Licenses and Certifications: An active P & C License, with proficiency in Applied Epic (strongly preferred).
- Skills and Abilities: Self-motivation, strong sense of accountability, exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Education and Training: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of business operations and management principles.
