Orion Talent is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License and experience working with aircraft engines and components. The role involves performing line maintenance, routine maintenance, and airworthiness releases to ensure aircraft are safe and airworthy. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting systems, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling sections and components. They will also be required to collaborate with the air carrier's maintenance control center and ensure all work is properly documented. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k match, life and disability insurance, and generous PTO and paid holidays. The salary range is $30-$50/hour, depending on experience, with a $12k retention bonus paid out over 2 years and $2k in relocation assistance. The position requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, and utilize hand and finger dexterity, as well as the ability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and be able to pass airport security background checks. The position involves working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet customer demand. Preferred qualifications include experience with A320, A330, A380, B747, and B767 aircraft.
